About Netring: The Website
The Construction
The Netring website has evolved over the last five years. This version is the most advanced yet. Not only is the front-end constructed using modern XHTML code, styled with CSS, and using DOM based JavaScript, but the back end system is also highly advanced .
The back end of the site is a .NET CMS template engine developed by Netring in-house expertise. Every page has an XML base (based on an original XML document) which is translated using an XSLT document into the clean XHTML that provides output to the user-agent.
This separation of content and structure allows us to update the content of the website at any time, with even the administrative Netring staff with little technical knowledge being able to update the site without breaking it; a problem with many other Content Management Systems.
Accessibility Statement
The Netring website is constructed in a manner on the front-end allowing the website will be highly accessible to Screen readers for the sight impaired and to alternative Internet enabled hand held devices and some of the more advanced mobile phones.
Access Keys are also enabled to allow website visitors easy access to menu items.
