Our Approach

From the outset, Netring views the needs of each client on an individual basis because, from experience, we have found that even those in the same industry have and need their own particular approach to an identical marketplace. Therefore, Netring segments website development into several phases to ensure smooth project development producing the required end product.

Discovery

Client Analysis

An initial meeting is arranged between Netring and the client. (Up to two Netring employees may be present.) The first goal will be to provide the Netring team with an understanding of exactly what the client is trying to achieve.

When the client's needs have been assessed, Netring will present and explain the solutions that can be implemented. Any queries or misconceptions raised by the client on any area of the solution will be explained at this stage.

Design

This discussion will focus on the client's image. They may or may not have an established brand name or they may be looking to create a new image for themselves to focus existing and new customers on their product/services offered.

If the client has already successfully developed their company image, they usually have style guidelines established. Where this is not the case, Netring are able to work with the client to create a new image and discuss any design goals and guidelines needed.

If the client does not have an image, the company's ideals will then be discussed. Conceptual material will have to be generated by Netring and further meetings will be arranged to review these ideas and designs.

After that meeting, a general overview document will be created by Netring which will include any design information enabling a preliminary project specification to be raised which can then be verified or amended by the client.

The initial concepts will then be created and presented to the customer. After the site design has been finalised, a site map and content delivery plan will be created.

Time Plan

After the initial meeting a time plan will be created providing a break down of the work involved.

Site Map / Content Delivery

A site map will be devised that will explain the flow of the site. Technical specifications will also be provided for any functionality that is required, such as user protected areas etc. When the site map has been created, a content delivery plan will be agreed which will be acceptable to both parties. A content delivery plan ensures that the project remains on course and announces to the client when and if any content/input is needed on their part.

Construction

Construction begins after the Design phase is complete and both Netring and the Client are happy with the design style guide.

During the construction process the work's progress will be available for the Client to view on Netring's development server. This way, the Client has the opportunity to view all the progress of the project and raise any issues.

Site management

Site management can be provided by Netring. A monthly maintenance contract may be negotiated that will allow the client to request site modifications by email.

Content management of the site can also easily be achieved by the client themselves by using freeform editable pages. For stricter page management they will need tailored maintenance forms.

Hosting & E-mail

Netring can provide Hosting and E-mail solutions to all requirements.
